title : a happy happy 2011 new year
today, going to post about 2010.
because after tomorrow,
its good-bye to 2010
and HELLLO!! to 2011.

as i mention in my facebook,
2010 is the most eventful year of my lift.
looking back - its was a year that i have learn many many things.

1. Polytechnic Last Semester.
to be exact, its my last term.
knew a great bunch of new people in this semester.
really enjoy the last class~
follow by graduation... and right now,
writing this post i found out that i missed those poly times.
espcially the trio + 1 GANG!!!!! :D
how we work together to finish our projects,
and those times when we study for exams together ( although mostly we sms each other)

2. Mum's operation
this is the second event,
my first closest family member that undergo surgery.
was worried at that time,
thinking of quite alot of stuffs.
and praying.
praying praying praying for my mother safety.

and because of this operation,
i missed my grandpa.
my only grandpa that i have seen but passed away 2 years ago.
my paternal grandpa passed away before i was born.

3. Working at 3 different places
Astute Pte Ltd
my first going-back-to-work job
as temp administrative assistant
really enjoy the job there and
knowing my colleagues who are a bunch of very good people.

and many many things happen since.
many unforgettable things happen but will be my memory forever.

Ideacademy
learning to teach tuition here.
as learn how to teach tuition.
because for people like me who is stupid,
teaching does not come naturally and
so i even have to learn how to teach tuition.

and know my first batch of kids!
i will remember and miss them. (:

Jeb Asia Pte Ltd
another place that i have known a great bunch of colleagues.
maybe because i was the youngest
and the greenest,
many of them took me in.
really take good care of me.

and so i have made a choice to stay on as part time.
*for the money and experience! (:

my colleagues was really!
(look at my facebook and you will know!)

hence, i can conclude that i have good luck in knowing great colleagues.
thanks to them all!!!!!!

4. my 21st BIRTHDAY
okay, actually alot of us are 21st this year.
but still, i know its a special year for us.
we are officially adults.
although our life is still the same,
but i believe many of us dont feel the same.

there's a sense of responsibility in me now.
we need to start planning our future
as we are no longer as young as before.

5. learn driving
yes, i have finally started to learn driving
and is proud to announce that
i have PASSED MY BTT before 2010 ends (:

6. registering ACCA
when i could not get into uni as hope,
there was a time i really stunned.
really lost.
i keep thinking...
what am i going to do?
can i really survive in a world without uni cert?
if i study private, will i have the money?

many many qns really through my mind.
and when i cant decide between SIM and ACCA,
i choose a route i think will be better for my future.
SIM - provides broader topics but not recognised by ICPAS.
ACCA - recognised by ICPAS and able to become CPA.

when i cant decide, all i could think was:
if i dont have a uni cert, how can i really achieve in my work in the future?
then when i see that with a ACCA cert, i can become CPA,
i think its the route i want.
without uni cert, i may not be good.
but i believe when my name accompanied with CPA, i can achieve more.

so i choose ACCA.
starting school next year!

so, good-bye 2010.
everything that happened since will officially become history in my books.
Memories that i will lock in a corner of my mind.

and HEEELLLLO 2011!
Looking forward -

1. Officially a student again.
officially a student again.
received a sms from kaplan,
confirmed my classes starting on 3rd jan 2011.
first class: taxation.
Not sure what will happen.
Not daring to imagine what's going to happen.
but
definitely looking forward to my first lesson!!
all the best, sally!

2. get my driving license by SEPT 2011.
this shall be the brithday present to myself.
my target is to get my driving license by sept 2011.
so i need to really focus on practical and my FTT in 2011.
all the best, sally!

3. starting my part time work in JAPL
starting my part time work officially in 2011.
not really alot of things to look forward, as it should be pretty much the same as now.
but is hoping i will be able to learn new stuffs in accounting
since one of my colleagues is going on maternity leave and
thus, giving me a chance to cover some of her things.

SO LET'S ALL LOOK FORWARD TO 2011!! (:
*i hope in 2011, i can find the very meaning to my life (:

cheers all!
ciao~
